Project Objective

To do extensive research on some of the top student cities, universities and colleges across the world then write detailed original content describing each location or institution. Each article represented different cities and universities across the world.

The information aspect of the content was to provide a dynamic overview of each city or institution from the perspective of an international student. The persuasive as aspect was to encourage international students to make these cities their home through student accommodation provided by Student.com. The content had to be engaging, informative, personable, and persuasive with a friendly tone with a voice of a young adult.

Impact Summary

Most of the pages I wrote content for have ranked on the first page of search engines for multiple keywords, some in the Top 3. According to the client, the pages with the content I wrote had 33% more conversions compared to other pages on the website. Also, the pages that I wrote content for had 30% more traffic compared to the other pages on the website and were down 30% less than the rest of the website during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the entire website suffered a decrease in traffic.
